It is used for collecting secreta samples from throat or nasal cavity. The samples collected by swabs preserve in preservative medium which used for virus testing, cultivation, isolation and so on.

Swab are naseopharyngeal swab, they are individually packaged, EO-sterilized, nylon flocked, 155mm with 80 mm breakpoint, CE-marked, made by an FDA-registered manufacturer, and have a 2-year shelf life.

Product principle

Each lot of VTM is manufactured under strict guidelines as outlined by the CDC, is sterile, and undergoes quality control before release (See CoA). Stable at least six months at room temperature (2-40°C). Stable for up to one year when stored 2-8°C. Option with biohazard bags also available.
